We operate in the Nuba Mountains region in the areas under the administration of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement North (SPLMN). This part of the country is one of the most marginalized and isolated regions that have been subjected to destruction of Sudan government’s troops and its militias since 1983. Even the United Nations is not able to access this region because the government of Sudan has refused to cooperate with the international community in this matter. This is the map of Sudan and the Nuba Mountains region is located in the southern part of the country.
